Description
Since January 1, 2019, the municipalities of Bjuv, Klippan, Perstorp, and Åstorp have collaborated in a joint guardianship committee. Perstorp is the host municipality for the collaboration, holds the chairmanship of the committee, and the guardianship unit is also located here.
The committee and the guardianship unit work with the tasks of the collaborating municipalities that, according to law or regulation, fall under the guardianship authority. The committee is a judicial authority in the first instance, and its main task is to supervise the activities of guardians, curators, and administrators.
There are high demands for the operations to be conducted in a legally secure and professional manner. The operations handle over 1,000 cases and consist of a guardianship manager, four guardianship officers, and an administrator.
Responsibilities
In the role of administrator, you will be responsible for the administrative work in the unit where you will daily manage the committee's functional mailbox, register incoming documents, staff the committee's phone, and respond to incoming inquiries. The position also includes assisting the officers in requesting documents and handling simpler processing. Furthermore, it includes recruiting, assessing suitability, and training new representatives. Your tasks will include, for example, document registration, case preparation, meeting planning, sending invitations, writing minutes, dispatching, document release, and archiving. You will also contribute to the annual update and review of governing documents such as information management plans, delegation orders, register listings, and the unit's routines.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with work experience as a committee secretary, chief registrar, or other equivalent administrative work within public operations. We would prefer that you have an education in political science, archiving, or another equivalent educational background.
As you are the first contact into the operations, it is important that you communicate in an easily understandable way and are attentive to people's needs. You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. As the administrative hub of the operations, it is important that you understand the mission of the operations. You should be meticulous and well aware of goals and quality standards.
It is an advantage if you have experience working as an administrator for a guardianship operation or another public authority that handles strict confidentiality.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who has the competence to contribute to our operations regardless of gender, age, ethnic background, religion or other beliefs, sexual orientation, or disability. You need to have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, be able to express yourself easily in writing and speech, and also be able to provide constructive feedback on others' texts. You understand how the municipal organization and decision-making process work and what constitutes a qualitative decision basis. We would prefer that you have knowledge of plain language adaptation and accessibility adaptation.
Personal suitability will play a significant role in the appointment of the position. Therefore, you need to be good at collaborating and have a structured working method with high integrity where you are driven, meticulous, and responsible. We also want the person we are looking for to be unpretentious, open, attentive, and able to create trust. You work independently and can organize and prioritize your work effectively within given time frames. You are a team player and are driven by creating the best conditions for the unit together with your colleagues and delivering good service and quality to those we serve.

To work with us, you must show a valid passport, national ID card, or personal certificate along with an identification document at the job interview. If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EES or Switzerland, you will also need to bring a work permit.
We apply individual and equal salary setting based on experience, competence, and market conditions with a salary range of 33,000 - 38,000 SEK per month with a salary level for 2026.
